Octopath Traveler 2 is an excellent game published by Square Enix. One of the quests in this game is called Inventor Job. You will get this quest by meeting Arkar, the inventor. To complete this quest and unlock one of the inventor skills, you will need to find a rare component called Natural Magnetite, which is hard to find. Here’s how you can find the Natural Magnetite.
Location of Natural Magnetite in Octopath Traveler 2
There is only one location on the map where you can find Natural Magnetite in Octooath Traveler 2, and that’s the Unfinished Tunnel in the Southern Crackridge Wilds (Wildlands). Here’s how to reach this location.
Depending on your current location, you will have to reach Leaflands, Cropdale first.
Next, head right and enter the Eastern Cropdale Trail. Keep heading right until you see a pathway for heading north. At that point in the game, a diamond icon will pop up on your map. The diamond is at the top of the hill.
Reach the top of the hill to enter the Southern Crackridge Wilds. Once you enter Southern Crackridge Wilds, head north until you see a Save Point. Near that Save Point, you will find a few groups of men and the entrance to the Unfinished Tunnel.
This is where you will find the Natural Magnetite, but the entrance will be blocked by the Overseer. At this point, a few options will appear to you. You will get the option to battle him, knock him or ambush him, among other options. Choose any one option to clear the entrance.
But before you can enter again, the foreman will warn you of a monster inside. Enter the tunnel anyway.
You can fight the monster and then get the chest that contains Natural Magnetite.
Or, you can follow the tracks received from the foreman to avoid the monster.
Take the first turn towards the character’s left. Next, keep walking the same path, turn towards the character’s left, and take the first ramp of stairs down. Next, look to your character’s right and then take another right to get access to another ramp of stairs down and then go down. Next, continue heading ahead and under the tunnel to reach the other side.
At this point, you will have a ladder ahead of you. Climb up the ladder, and you will find a gold chest that contains the Natural Magnetite.
Congratulations, you have successfully completed the quest without triggering the boss fight.
