Halo Infinite: Turn Off AI Voice [Guide]

Halo Infinite recently launched its multiplayer beta and it has been a blast. Many players have jumped the gun and we got to see our first experience of multiplayer in Halo Infinite.

A new and somewhat existing feature that seems to surprise new players is the Spartan chatter or AI Voice in Halo Infinite. Let’s find out more about it.

What is AI Voice or Spartan Chatter?

Spartan Chatter is an existing feature from Halo 5 that allows the in-game AI to dictate voice commands, expressions, and general chatter from other Spartans playing with you.

This feature seems to be creating a lot of controversy with the recent launch of multiplayer (beta) in Halo Infinite as players are unable to turn it off during multiplayer games which can get annoying for many.

If you’re in the same boat then follow the guide below to turn off Spartan Chatter.

How to turn off Spartan Chatter or AI Voice in Halo Infinite

Do you know how people talk about those games that are in beta where you have to plow your way through bugs? Well, this seems to be the case for Halo Infinite.

Although you can turn off Spartan Chatter in-game, the option just doesn’t do anything. This could be a bug only prevalent in the multiplayer mode for now but it’s too early to say for sure.

If you are feeling adventurous, then you can use the guide below to disable AI Voice or Spartan Chatter in Halo Infinite. Keep in mind that the option won’t have any effect until a fix or patch is released by Microsoft.

With the game launched on your PC, open Settings and click on ‘Audio’ at the top. Scroll to the bottom now and uncheck the box for ‘Spartan Chatter’.

Click on ‘Apply’ to apply your changes.

And that’s it! Spartan Chatter will now be disabled for your PC.

When will Microsoft fix this issue?

Well, multiplayer is currently in beta, and Halo Infinite is still in its early stages. We are sure the devs have been working day and night to squash bugs and it’s only time before this option is fixed in the Settings menu.

A fix could also be issued from the server-side in case this is an issue affecting only multiplayer games. A fix should arrive soon and if not, we should have more info on why this option doesn’t work in the Settings menu.

We hope this guide helped shed some light on turning off Voice AI or Spartan Chatter in Halo Infinite. If you face any issues or have any more questions, feel free to reach out using the comments below.
